How to use the Search features
Are you curious about searching options or do you want to learn how to search more effectively? See this user manual.
Use the links below to navigate if there is something in particular you are looking for:
General

Here all 3 search terms are suitable; parts of words are sufficient
You can type multiple words to narrow your search, and all of the words you type must match for the search to appear. It is enough to type part of a word. For details about the different searches, see Event Log, Tool-list, Warehouses, User List, and My Tools further down the page.
When your company has inventory stock count, you can include a # to only show tools that no one has counted yet.
Tool warehouses
ere you can search for tools and warehouses

Searching for the term 'garage' will find a warehouse called the Parking Garage (top). It will also find tools that are in place at that warehouse, or tools that are out and about to be delivered to that warehouse.
If you search in tools, the Tool name and technical name are always displayed. The line below shows who has the tool, and if it is on loan, there is an arrow to → where it should be returned. You can also search by Name (global search), warehousetools, Mytools pages– name+nickname (collective, free text, always displayed) companyToolNumber, companyToolNumber2, companyToolId, currentHolderName, physicalPlacement, warehouseName (separate, only displayed if there is a match in the search)

Search for who has things: Ola

Search for where things are placed: Skippergata

Search for Labeling. Additional fields are displayed in italics if the search matches them.

You can show all tools by entering an asterisk * (this will also show all tools from the users personal tools)
Administrators can search for lost or hidden tools by clicking in the menu at the top right

Tap one of the fields to search the entire company.
Administrators can enter «?» as one of the search terms to search only lost tools (tools that have been reported missing/stolen).

Search for drill, but only lost drills by including a question mark «?»
Administrators can also enter «!» as one of the search terms to search only in hidden tools (typically things that are for service or something, and should not be loaned out).

Search for Sävsjøsläpet trailers, but only those that are in service, by including an exclamation mark «!»
User list

You can search by username or employee number.
Search in warehouse - tool list
Within each warehouse, in addition to text search, you can filter tools by category. If you select multiple categories, all categories must match for the tool to be displayed.

Category Gardintrapp

By using two categories, you can find only those stairs that are approved for work near live powerlines, for example.
You can view deployed tools on the map by pressing the Map with deployed tools button.

Tapping a marker displays more information about the tool

Click on the description/image to view that tool
You can search for tools in the map, and the map zooms in/out to fit your search.

The search zoomed in on the tool
Drag and drop the Google man to see the map in 3D.

Physically turn your phone around or drag the view to rotate. The cursor will be in the correct location when you rotate in 3D. The accuracy of the location depends on how careful the person who deployed the tool was. You don't have a direct connection to the satellite/camera, so the images are usually a bit outdated.
My tools

The trash can removes the favorite from the list, but does not delete the tool itself.
Event log
Only administrators have access to the event log. Name and Technical Name are always displayed. Technical name is displayed in parentheses.

Search by tool name: Something happened to the drill tool
You can also search by Tag for the log-event (often order number, project, etc.), Tool ID, Who has the tool and location on map.

The Gaffa-tape was used at the Hospital.

Something was delivered to the Hovedlager.

Search by address: Something was deployed on Skippergata.
